Are dreams a window into our unconscious?
Sigmund Freud thought that dreams were a peek into the unconscious thoughts of humans. There have been studies to indicate he could have been onto something. According to PBS, amnesiacs reported dreaming about things that happened before they went to sleep, even though they did not have any conscious memory of those events happening in real life.

This link shows how amnesiacs say they dreamt things that happened before they went to sleep that they don't even remember. Even though they had these dreams and don't remember where they came from their mind still stored what the eyes saw. Therefore, even though the individuals don't remember what they had done or where they had been their dreams show them during their periods of sleep.
